  2. Test your alcohol marker colours on a scrap of the same cardstock you will be colouring on to check how they appear. ▶ watch 7:30
  3. Start with the lightest shade of orange (YR24 Marigold) and apply it to the outer edges of the face, working inward with broad strokes. ▶ watch 9:00
  4. Layer a medium shade (R139 Flesh) over the orange, blending it into the first colour by working from outside inward. ▶ watch 11:45
  5. Add a darker shade around the lips and jawline to create shadow and dimension. ▶ watch 12:30
  6. Allow the alcohol to evaporate by walking away from your work for a few moments before continuing. ▶ watch 13:00
  7. Colour the eyeshadow with a green shade, applying the darker colour at the top of the lid and a lighter shade at the bottom. ▶ watch 17:30
  8. Apply the first lip colour (R4) around the outer edge of the lips, working from the outside inward. ▶ watch 18:00
  9. Layer a second red shade (R1) over the first, keeping the line thin and allowing it to blend naturally with the skin tone. ▶ watch 18:45
  10. Add a third shade to deepen the lip colour and create dimension, then allow the piece to dry completely. ▶ watch 19:15
