Stamped and Layered Floral Card with Multiple Die-Cut Elements

A feminine card showcasing multiple stamped and die-cut floral elements layered together in different configurations. The flowers can be built up with solid, outline and textured stamp versions, then interchanged and layered for varied looks.

Step by step

1. Stamp out the solid floral element from the mid-century modern florals stamp set onto cardstock. ▶ watch 33:15
2. Stamp the outline version of the same flower onto different coloured cardstock. ▶ watch 33:30
3. Stamp the textured or semi-silhouette version of the flower onto another piece of cardstock. ▶ watch 33:45
4. Die-cut all the stamped flower versions using the coordinating die, ensuring they are all cut to exactly the same size. ▶ watch 34:00
5. Layer one flower element inside another, rotating them to create different visual effects. ▶ watch 34:15
6. Turn your layered designs upside down to see how they look from a different angle. ▶ watch 34:30
7. Adhere your chosen layered flower combination to your card base using foam adhesive for dimension. ▶ watch 35:00

Tips from the show

• Having multiple blocks or stamps of the same design in different styles (solid, outline, textured) allows you to build and layer flowers in many different ways.
• Interchanging and rotating the layered elements creates completely different looks from the same stamps and dies.
