Textured Wood Panel Background Card

A card featuring a realistic wood grain texture created by die-cutting wood panel designs and layering them. This creates an instant, professional-looking textured background perfect for any occasion.

Step by step

1. Die-cut the wood panelling die set to create individual wooden panel pieces. ▶ watch 18:15
2. Layer the panels together, allowing them to tessellate or lock together like a jigsaw. ▶ watch 18:30
3. Adhere the layered panels to your card base to create a wood grain background. ▶ watch 18:45
4. Add additional die-cut elements such as leaves, branches, butterflies or flowers on top of the wood background. ▶ watch 19:00
5. Stamp a sentiment or message onto the card to complete the design. ▶ watch 19:15

Tips from the show

• You can keep repeating the wood panel die to create as large a background as you need.
• The individual panels pop out separately, giving you flexibility in how you arrange them.
