White Embossed Stamp with Gold Centre Accent Card

A mixed-media card combining white and gold embossed stamps on the monochromatic base. The centre panel features a bold gold sparkly embossing powder for emphasis, whilst the outer panels use white, creating a striking focal point.

Step by step

1. Gather your antistatic bag and white wow embossing powder. ▶ watch 25:45
2. Cover the left-hand panel with antistatic powder to prepare it for embossing. ▶ watch 26:00
3. Ink the delicate Stand Tall stamp in a sticky ink pad. ▶ watch 26:15
4. Stamp the inked design onto the left panel. ▶ watch 26:30
5. Sprinkle white wow embossing powder over the wet stamped image. ▶ watch 26:45
6. Heat set the white embossed stamp with a heat gun. ▶ watch 27:00
7. For the centre panel, use an antistatic bag and apply bold gold sparkly embossing powder instead of white. ▶ watch 27:30
8. Stamp the same design onto the centre panel and heat set with the gold powder. ▶ watch 27:45
9. Brush away any excess floating embossing powder with a soft brush. ▶ watch 28:30
10. Repeat the white embossing process on the right-hand panel. ▶ watch 29:00
11. Mount the finished embossed panel onto your card base. ▶ watch 29:45

Tips from the show

• Use an antistatic bag before stamping to help the embossing powder adhere better.
• New soft-haired brushes are coming that will help remove all the floaty embossing powder without damaging your work.
