White on White Heart Frame Card with Raised Elements

A clean and elegant card using nesting heart die frames that stay flat within the card. You can raise alternate hearts with your finger to create dimension, or leave them completely flat for a minimalist white-on-white look.

Step by step

1. Run the heart die through your machine with white card stock to create the nesting frame effect. ▶ watch 16:45
2. Observe how the hearts stay within the card boundaries, creating a beautiful frame. ▶ watch 17:00
3. Push your finger on the back of alternate hearts and pinch gently to raise them for a 3D effect. ▶ watch 17:30
4. Leave some hearts flat if you prefer a clean, white-on-white aesthetic. ▶ watch 17:45
5. Add a small touch of colour or sparkle in the centre if desired, or keep it completely monochromatic. ▶ watch 18:00
6. Mount your finished piece onto a card base. ▶ watch 18:15

Tips from the show

• White on white creates a beautiful, clean and simple look.
• You can add glitter, sparkles or watercolour behind the raised hearts for extra interest.
• The die cuts detail into the frame as well as creating the outline.
