Landscape Card with Stencilled Background and Stamped Elements

A landscape-oriented card combining stencilled digital rain effects with layered stamped florals and sentiment. The design uses colour blocking and dimensional elements to create visual interest.

Step by step

1. Create a coloured background using your preferred inking technique on white card. ▶ watch 43:30
2. Position the cascading numbers stencil across your background. ▶ watch 44:00
3. Ink through the stencil with black ink to create the digital rain effect. ▶ watch 44:30
4. Stamp the floral elements from your stamp set onto coordinating card stock. ▶ watch 45:00
5. Die-cut the stamped florals using the complementary dies. ▶ watch 45:30
6. Stamp your chosen sentiment onto the card in black ink. ▶ watch 46:00
7. Adhere 3D foam pads to the back of the floral die-cuts. ▶ watch 46:30
8. Position the dimensional florals on your card, layering them for depth. ▶ watch 46:45
9. Mount the finished piece onto your final card base. ▶ watch 47:00

Tips from the show

• Landscape orientation works well for this design.
• You can add sparkle to the florals if desired.
• Layering the florals creates visual interest without overwhelming the design.
