Heart Art Ombre Ink Layered Card

A beautiful card featuring the Heart Art stamp with its iconic 'Always Be Kind' sentiment and spray-art style heart. The design is enhanced with an ombre ink technique using blue, ocean and yellow dyes, creating a soft gradient effect.

Step by step

1. Stamp the Heart Art image onto white card stock using Versafine Clay ink, pressing firmly to capture all the fine details. ▶ watch 20:30
2. Apply the first colour (blue dye ink) around the heart using a sponge or applicator, working from the centre outwards. ▶ watch 20:45
3. Layer the second colour (ocean dye ink) over the blue, extending further out to create a gradient effect. ▶ watch 21:00
4. Apply the third colour (yellow dye ink) on the reverse side and blend all colours together for a seamless ombre effect. ▶ watch 21:15
5. Mount the stamped and coloured piece onto a backing card, adding a dirty edge with ink flicking around the border for a vintage feel. ▶ watch 21:30
