Linear Poppy Foliage Card with Skeleton Design

Use the linear poppy die set to create a delicate foliage card featuring skeleton-style poppy outlines and coordinating leaf elements. The sketch design creates an elegant, botanical look with white and coloured accents.

Step by step

1. Cut the linear poppy skeleton outline from white cardstock using the die. ▶ watch 30:45
2. Cut the coordinating foliage elements from white cardstock. ▶ watch 31:30
3. Cut a smaller version of the poppy skeleton from white cardstock for layering. ▶ watch 32:00
4. Add subtle colour to the poppy skeleton using an ink pad to define the design. ▶ watch 40:30
5. Adhere the coloured skeleton poppy to your card base. ▶ watch 43:00
6. Position and glue the foliage elements around the poppy design. ▶ watch 43:30
7. Add sparkle or sequins to enhance the finished card. ▶ watch 44:00

Tips from the show

• The linear poppy die set includes both skeleton outlines and coordinating foliage elements for a complete botanical design.
• You can leave the white elements solid or add subtle colour with ink to make them pop from the background.
• Consider using watercolour on the background with these dies in white for a pretty effect.
