Pink and White Layered Flower Frame Card

A clean and simple card using the daisy frame die with layered pink and white elements. The design features a white flower inserted into a pink frame, creating a letterpress-like effect with dimensional interest.

Step by step

1. Cut the daisy frame die from white cardstock and from pink cardstock. ▶ watch 11:00
2. Cut away the pink flower from the pink die-cut, leaving the pink frame intact. ▶ watch 11:15
3. Glue the white flower and pink frame together to create a two-tone layered effect. ▶ watch 11:30
4. Create a second panel using pink and white cardstock pieces. ▶ watch 12:30
5. Adhere the layered flower design flat onto white cardstock. ▶ watch 13:00
6. Add 3D foam pads behind the design to create dimension. ▶ watch 14:00
7. Wrap a decorative band around the base of the card using cardstock strips. ▶ watch 14:15
8. Glue the layered panel onto the card base. ▶ watch 14:30

Tips from the show

• The die creates a recess that allows you to paper piece the design back into itself for a two-tone effect.
• The die does all the work, so keep the design simple and let the die shine.
