Simple Layered Card with Topper and Embellishment

A quick and elegant card made using the Creator Card Kit, featuring a pre-printed card blank, coordinating topper, and embellishments. This demonstrates how fast and beautiful cards can be created with minimal effort using the kit's pre-coordinated elements.

Step by step

1. Select a card blank in your chosen colour from the kit. ▶ watch 16:30
2. Choose a coordinating topper that complements the card blank's colour palette. ▶ watch 16:45
3. Apply foam pads to the back of the topper to create dimension. ▶ watch 17:00
4. Stick the padded topper onto the centre of the card blank. ▶ watch 17:15
5. Select embellishments from the kit that coordinate with your design. ▶ watch 17:30
6. Apply foam pads under large embellishments to prevent the card from sinking. ▶ watch 18:00
7. Position and stick embellishments around the topper. ▶ watch 18:30
8. Apply a rub-on design to the corner of the card using a burnishing tool. ▶ watch 19:00
9. Add a touch of sparkle or glitter if desired for extra luxury. ▶ watch 20:00
10. Review your finished card and make any final adjustments. ▶ watch 21:00

Tips from the show

• Use plenty of foam pads so your card does not sink when given to someone.
• All the card blanks, toppers and embellishments in the kit are pre-coordinated, so any combination will work together.
• You can stamp a sentiment onto a tag and add it to the centre if you wish, or leave the design as is.
