Seed Packet Wallet from Paper Pad

Create a decorative wallet-style pocket using a seed packet design from the paper pad. This charming project folds into a neat envelope that can hold small gifts, money, or mementos, and works beautifully as a card embellishment or standalone gift.

Step by step

1. Cut out the seed packet design from the paper pad using small scissors. ▶ watch 32:30
2. Score the perforation lines freehand by pinching at the end, or use a scoreboard for a more precise fold. ▶ watch 36:15
3. Fold the bottom flap up and secure it with tape to create the wallet base. ▶ watch 40:30
4. Tuck the top flap into the base, or fold it over the top for a layered look depending on your preference. ▶ watch 41:00
5. Ink around the edges with a dark colour such as chocolate or teal to define the wallet and add visual interest. ▶ watch 42:00
6. Insert a small gift, money, or embellishment inside the wallet to complete the project. ▶ watch 42:30

Tips from the show

• You can use a scoreboard to score the lines properly, or score them freehand by pinching at the end.
• The white edge of the card can be inked to create a finished look.
