Create a stunning textured card featuring a sophisticated herringbone pattern embellished with shimmering iridescent paste. This project combines stencilling techniques with dimensional paste to achieve a modern, geometric design with beautiful sparkle and depth. The result is an elegant card perfect for special occasions, with a distressed yet refined aesthetic in soft pink and purple tones.
Prepare a black card base. Position the Herringbone stencil centrally on top of the card base, holding it in place with your hand.

Dip your finger into the Funky Fossil Stellar Paste in Starlight to pick up a small amount of the iridescent paste.

Place the herringbone stencil over your black card. Using a palette knife or spatula, dab the Funky Fossil Stellar Paste in Starlight through the stencil openings, working across the entire design to create a textured pattern.

Allow the paste to dry completely. The paste will appear slightly distressed and textured once dry, with an iridescent shimmer.

Carefully peel away the herringbone stencil to reveal the textured paste design with its iridescent sparkle finish.

Once the paste is completely dry, gently scratch off any excess dried paste from the card surface using your finger to create a cleaner, more defined finish.

Mount the finished embellished panel onto a contrasting card base to complete your card.
