Layered Texture Card with Stencil and Splatter

A 5-minute texture-focused card that builds layers using stencils, die-cut frames, and splatter techniques. The card creates visual interest through layering and mixed media effects.

Step by step

1. Prepare your white card base and select a die-cut frame. ▶ watch 30:30
2. Apply ink through a stencil to create a patterned background layer. ▶ watch 31:00
3. Adhere your die-cut frame onto the card base using glue or foam tape. ▶ watch 31:45
4. Add splatter texture using water-reactive ink and a brush. ▶ watch 32:30
5. Layer additional stamped elements within the frame for focal interest. ▶ watch 33:00
6. Build texture through layering techniques rather than single flat elements. ▶ watch 34:00
7. Allow all layers to dry before final assembly. ▶ watch 35:00

Tips from the show

• Layers and frames create texture and visual depth on a card.
