Everyday Collection Banner Card with Fussy-Cut Flower

Make a landscape-oriented card featuring a beautiful banner strip and fussy-cut floral elements from the patterned paper. This design showcases the gorgeous teal and pink colour palette with built-in sentiments from the collection.

Step by step

1. Cut a strip of patterned paper from the collection to use as a banner across your card base. ▶ watch 21:45
2. Mount the banner strip onto white cardstock to create contrast and definition. ▶ watch 22:00
3. Position the banner horizontally across your card, approximately in the middle, to split the design. ▶ watch 22:15
4. Fussy cut a flower motif from the patterned paper to use as a focal point embellishment. ▶ watch 22:30
5. Adhere the fussy-cut flower to the lower portion of your card using foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 22:45
6. Cut out a pre-made sentiment from the sentiment sheet included in the kit. ▶ watch 23:00
7. Adhere the sentiment to the upper portion of your card to complete the design. ▶ watch 23:15

Tips from the show

• The patterned paper is perfect for fussy cutting because it has distinct floral motifs you can isolate.
• Use foam pads behind embellishments to add dimension and make the card more visually interesting.
