Layered Decoupage Card with Mixed Topper Elements

A more elaborate decoupage card combining fussy-cut elements from multiple topper sheets, layered with foam pads for significant dimension. Perfect for showcasing the variety within the collection.

Step by step

1. Cut a card blank in your chosen colour (white or coordinating shade). ▶ watch 42:00
2. Select a topper from one design and fussy-cut the main focal element. ▶ watch 42:15
3. Glue this element to the card front as your base layer. ▶ watch 42:30
4. Choose a second topper design and fussy-cut complementary elements. ▶ watch 42:45
5. Apply foam pads to the back of these secondary elements. ▶ watch 43:00
6. Layer the padded elements on top of the base focal point. ▶ watch 43:15
7. Add additional embellishments such as stamped sentiments or die-cut elements. ▶ watch 43:30
8. Fold and seal a coordinating envelope to complete the set. ▶ watch 43:45

Tips from the show

• You get multiple copies of each design, so feel free to layer and fussy-cut generously.
• Mixing designs from different collections (florals with birds) creates interesting combinations.
• The quality of the 150 GSM envelopes means they hold up beautifully to layered cards.
