Mirrored Foundation Card with Navy and Confetti Ink

A striking card combining the textured foundation paper (which mimics a mirrored look without plastic) with navy patterned paper, embossed details, and confetti ink accents. The design showcases how the foundation papers provide texture and visual interest while remaining eco-friendly.

Step by step

1. Select a piece of the textured foundation paper, which has a mirrored appearance without plastic coating. ▶ watch 49:15
2. Choose a navy patterned paper from the collection to complement the foundation paper. ▶ watch 49:30
3. Layer the foundation paper onto your card base. ▶ watch 49:45
4. Add the navy patterned paper as a secondary layer for colour and pattern. ▶ watch 50:00
5. Emboss a section using the embossing folder to add texture and dimension. ▶ watch 50:30
6. Tear some vellum and layer it onto the card for added interest and elegance. ▶ watch 51:00
7. Apply confetti ink using a dry brush technique over the embossed areas for subtle sparkle. ▶ watch 51:30
8. Stamp sentiments from the collection onto the card as desired. ▶ watch 52:00
9. Secure all layers and allow to dry completely. ▶ watch 52:30

Tips from the show

• The foundation papers give you the look of texture without the plastic, making them eco-friendly and stampable.
• You can stamp, colour, tear and sand the foundation papers since they don't have plastic coating.
