Step by step

  1. Cut a piece of construction weight acetate and score it down the side to create a card base. ▶ watch 44:45
  2. Select a coordinating cardstock colour and cut a piece slightly smaller than your acetate to layer behind the focal point. ▶ watch 45:00
  3. Adhere one of the lovely textured mounts to the front of your acetate, positioning it off-centre so it appears to float on the patterned surface. ▶ watch 45:15
  4. Die-cut your sentiment (such as 'Made with Love') in two colours—one in a metallic shade and one in white—to create a drop shadow effect. ▶ watch 45:30
  5. Offset the white sentiment slightly behind the metallic one and adhere both to the card front near the bottom edge. ▶ watch 45:45
  6. Add two small leaves from your embellishment stash tucked under the sentiment for subtle interest. ▶ watch 46:00
  7. Open the card and adhere your coordinating cardstock piece to the inside to hide the glue marks on the back of the acetate. ▶ watch 46:15
  8. Allow the card to dry completely before handling. ▶ watch 46:30
