Shine Like A Star - 23/07/2025

Choose your painted mount design from the Fractured Flora set. 

Use a 4 1/2" diameter circle die to create a topper from the painted mount. Die cut a "mat" from kraft card using the next size up. 

Stamp our beautiful dancer, from Friends Forever, in the Sepia Versafine. 

Use a white gel pen to add highlights to the stamped image. 

Adhere onto the kraft topper. 

Choose a coordinating paper from the Shades Of Pink set. 

Trim paper to 5 1/2 x 7 1/2".

Tear a panel of vellum slightly narrower but longer, than the paper. Tuck the ends of the vellum over the top and bottom of the paper and secure on the reverse with tape or glue.

Mat onto kraft card trimmed to 5 3/4 x 7 3/4".

Adhere to your Fushia card blank.  

Secure your stamped topper onto your card. 

Using the dies as a guide, cut ONE drop from the Sepia washi roll. Lift up the backing sheet along one end of the tape and adhere across the top of an A4 sheet of white card. Slowly peel away the backing, as you use your hand to smooth the washi tape down on to the card. Once the backing has been fully removed, you can burnish the washi to ensure there are no air bubbles or creases.

Line up the second die, secure in place and run through your machine. 

Once all elements are die cut, pop out the sentiments, pick out the one you are using for this project and keep the rest in a tub for future projects.

Adhere your chosen sentiments in place flat or raised with foam pads. 

Finally, use your Stickles to add a touch of sparkle to your card as required.
