Perfume Bottle Card with Gold Glitter Paste and Embossing Folder

Elevate a perfume bottle design by using the 3D embossing folder as your base, then adding gold glitter paste to the perfume element and hand-cutting a watercoloured flower layer for a luxurious, multi-dimensional card.

Step by step

1. Run a piece of card through the 3D embossing folder to create the dimensional perfume bottle base design. ▶ watch 40:15
2. Mount the embossed design onto white card as your card base. ▶ watch 40:45
3. Position a stencil showing just the perfume bottle element on top of your embossed card. ▶ watch 41:00
4. Apply gold glitter paste through the stencil onto the perfume bottle using a spatula, working carefully to keep it within the stencil boundaries. ▶ watch 41:15
5. Allow the gold glitter paste to dry completely (it dries quickly). ▶ watch 41:45
6. Hand-cut a flower shape from pale pink card or watercoloured card stock. ▶ watch 42:00
7. Adhere the hand-cut flower layer on top of the embossed design to create additional dimension. ▶ watch 42:30
8. Add a gold sentiment cut from gold card stock to complete your elegant card design. ▶ watch 42:45

Tips from the show

• Gold glitter paste dries very quickly, so work efficiently when applying it.
• You can use the embossing folder independently without the stencils if you prefer a simpler design.
• Hand-cutting and layering adds extra dimension and visual interest to your finished card.
