Gnome Topper with Striped Paper Background Card

A festive card featuring a coloured gnome character mounted on a creative striped background made from patterned paper. The gingham paper is cut into strips and layered to create a dynamic, playful background.

Step by step

  1. Stamp the gnome character onto craft card in black ink. ▶ watch 1:07:30
  2. Colour the gnome using watercolours or crayons, adding details like a red hat and white beard. ▶ watch 1:08:00
  3. Apply sparkly glitter powder to the embossed areas and heat-set with a heat gun. ▶ watch 1:08:30
  4. Die-cut the coloured gnome using the coordinating die. ▶ watch 1:09:00
  5. Cut the gingham patterned paper from the Mystical Christmas pad into strips of two alternating colours. ▶ watch 1:09:30
  6. Layer the paper strips over glitter card to create a striped background, alternating the blue and pink tones. ▶ watch 1:10:00
  7. Trim the layered strips to fit your card size. ▶ watch 1:10:30
  8. Mount the striped background panel onto a craft card base. ▶ watch 1:11:00
  9. Adhere the die-cut gnome to the card using 3D tape. ▶ watch 1:11:30
  10. Add a sentiment stamp or sticker to complete the card. ▶ watch 1:12:00
