Oak Slice and Poinsettia Card

A simple but striking card featuring an embossed oak slice die-cut as the main focal point, paired with a large poinsettia flower in coordinating colours. The wood grain effect creates texture and warmth, perfect for a rustic Christmas aesthetic.

Step by step

  1. Cut a piece of craft card or cream cardstock to use as your card base. ▶ watch 45:30
  2. Die-cut an oak slice from the paper collection, which will have embossed ring and wood grain detailing. ▶ watch 45:45
  3. Glue the oak slice onto your card base as the focal point. ▶ watch 46:00
  4. Die-cut a large poinsettia flower from the paper collection. ▶ watch 46:15
  5. Layer and pinch the poinsettia petals to add dimension. ▶ watch 46:30
  6. Glue the poinsettia flower next to or overlapping the oak slice. ▶ watch 46:45
