Oak Slice Embossed Ornament

Create a textured wood-effect ornament using the new oak slice die with embossed detail. The embossed grooves capture ink to reveal the natural wood grain texture, perfect for adding rustic charm to Christmas cards.

Step by step

1. Select the oak slice die and ink it up with your chosen colour using an ink pad. ▶ watch 1:41:30
2. Run the inked die through your die-cutting machine to cut and emboss the oak slice shape. ▶ watch 1:41:45
3. The embossed detail will capture the ink in the grooves, creating a realistic wood grain effect. ▶ watch 1:42:00

Tips from the show

• The new oak slices work seamlessly with previous versions, allowing you to layer different shapes together.
• Ink the die before cutting to fill the embossed grooves with colour for maximum texture effect.
