Simple Stamped Scene Card with Reflection Technique

A quick card using pre-printed scene setter papers with a stamped figure. The reflection stamps are built into the design, creating instant depth and shadow without extra technique needed.

You will need

Step by step

1. Ink up the lady stamp with black ink pad. ▶ watch 39:45
2. Stamp the lady figure onto the street scene of the pre-printed card base, positioning her in the street area. ▶ watch 40:00
3. For added depth, ink up just the top portion of the stamp again. ▶ watch 40:15
4. Stamp the same figure over the first impression to create a darker top and lighter bottom, giving realistic shadow effect. ▶ watch 40:30
5. Trim the card down to size if needed. ▶ watch 40:45
6. Select a sentiment from the included sentiment stamps and add it to the bottom of the card. ▶ watch 41:00

Tips from the show

• The reflection is built into the stamp design, so you get instant realism with no extra technique required.
• You can use the pre-printed scene setters as-is without stamping if you prefer a simpler card.
