Lamination Stamp Card with Watercolour Technique

Create a glamorous portrait card using the two-part lamination stamp system. You ink and spray the coloured base layer, then add detailed facial features and embellishments for an elevated, artistic finish without needing painting skills.

Step by step

  1. Select the coloured portion of the lamination stamp (the solid part showing the face outline). ▶ watch 16:00
  2. Ink up the stamp with your chosen colour using an ink pad. ▶ watch 16:15
  3. Lightly spray the inked stamp with water from a spray bottle. ▶ watch 16:30
  4. Stamp the coloured portion firmly onto your card stock, pressing down to transfer the watercoloured effect. ▶ watch 16:45
  5. Allow the card to dry completely so the watercolour ink sets properly. ▶ watch 17:00
  6. Select the detail stamp (the second A5 stamp with facial features like eyes, lips and hair). ▶ watch 18:00
  7. Ink the detail stamp with black or dark ink, ensuring good coverage. ▶ watch 18:15
  8. Carefully align and stamp the detail portion over the coloured base, matching the facial features to the coloured area. ▶ watch 18:30
  9. Press down firmly and evenly to ensure crisp detail transfer. ▶ watch 18:45
  10. Consider optional embellishments such as glitter on the eyes or glossy accents for extra dimension. ▶ watch 19:00
