Step Into the Groove Wedge Shoe Card

A fun fashion-themed card featuring layered wedge shoes created with stencils and die cuts. The shoes can be decorated with different patterns and colours, and paired with sentiment words for a celebratory feel.

Step by step

1. Select the layering stencil system for wedge shoes from your collection. ▶ watch 21:45
2. Choose your colour scheme and stencil the first layer of the shoe design onto your card or paper. ▶ watch 22:00
3. Align the registration marks in the four corners and stencil the second layer in a contrasting colour. ▶ watch 22:15
4. Continue layering with different pattern options such as butterflies, stars, florals or lightning bolts. ▶ watch 22:30
5. Use the coordinating die to cut out the completed shoe design for a clean, finished edge. ▶ watch 22:45
6. Mount the die-cut shoe onto your card base using foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 23:00
7. Add sentiment words and additional embellishments such as flowers or silhouette figures to complete your design. ▶ watch 23:15

Tips from the show

• You can create both half wedge and full wedge shoe designs depending on your preference.
• The pattern is interchangeable, so you can use different design combinations on each shoe.
