Step by step

  1. Select a patterned paper from the reflection collection as your base layer. ▶ watch 6:45
  2. Position the silhouette people stamp on the paper, finding the sweet spot for placement by testing different positions. ▶ watch 7:00
  3. Ink up the stamp with black ink, pressing firmly to ensure the top portion is solid and the base shows the jaded reflection effect. ▶ watch 8:15
  4. Stamp the image twice on the same spot to achieve true black colour. ▶ watch 8:30
  5. Position the tree stamp carefully to align with the grounded perspective of the people, ensuring the reflection in the tree complements the people's reflection. ▶ watch 9:45
  6. Stamp the tree in black ink, considering how much of the paper design you want to show around it. ▶ watch 10:00
  7. Apply sticky ink pad to the silhouette stamp and ink it up thoroughly. ▶ watch 13:00
  8. Stamp the image onto watercolour card, pressing down firmly to capture all detail. ▶ watch 13:15
  9. Sprinkle gold embossing powder over the wet stamped image. ▶ watch 16:15
  10. Heat set the embossing powder with a heat gun, holding it at a distance and allowing the gun to get hot before applying to avoid paper warping. ▶ watch 16:30
