Two-Tone Silhouette Card with White Ink

A striking card using the reflection collection papers stamped with white ink instead of black, creating a reversed silhouette effect. This demonstrates how changing ink colour completely transforms the look of the same stamp and paper combination.

Step by step

1. Select a patterned paper from the reflection collection as your base. ▶ watch 42:30
2. Ink up the silhouette stamp with white ink instead of black. ▶ watch 42:45
3. Stamp the image firmly onto the patterned paper, pressing down to ensure good coverage. ▶ watch 43:00
4. Lift the stamp away to reveal the white silhouette against the coloured paper. ▶ watch 43:15
5. Mount onto a card blank or add further embellishments as desired. ▶ watch 43:30

Tips from the show

• White ink creates a completely different aesthetic from black ink on the same papers.
• If you stamp in white and change your mind, you can stamp over it in black to create a white shadow effect.
