Mini Card with Alcohol Ink Mount and Fussy-Cut Flowers

A quick mini card using a pre-printed alcohol ink mount as the focal point, topped with fussy-cut flowers from the patterned paper. The layered design creates depth and visual interest with minimal effort.

Step by step

1. Take an A2 black card blank as your base. ▶ watch 4:00
2. Glue the pre-printed alcohol ink mount to the top of the card blank. ▶ watch 4:15
3. Select a patterned paper with floral designs from the set. ▶ watch 4:45
4. Fussy-cut the flowers from the patterned paper using soft, relaxed scissor strokes. ▶ watch 5:00
5. If white edges appear from cutting, blend them with an ink blending tool to add colour. ▶ watch 5:15
6. Glue the fussy-cut flowers onto the alcohol ink mount to create your embellishment. ▶ watch 5:30
7. Your mini card is complete. ▶ watch 5:45

Tips from the show

• Don't worry about perfect fussy cutting; you can tidy up any white edges with an ink blending tool.
• These quick mini cards can be made in batches and bagged up for selling or gifting.
