Mini Card with Stamped and Die-Cut Bike

A charming mini card featuring the bike stamp inked in black on coloured card stock, die-cut with its coordinating die, and layered with fussy-cut flowers for added dimension and colour.

Step by step

1. Select a coloured card stock from the set with a purple hue. ▶ watch 6:00
2. Stamp the bike image onto the coloured card stock using black ink. ▶ watch 6:15
3. Secure the stamped card stock onto your die-cutting machine plates with low-tack tape. ▶ watch 7:00
4. Run the card through the die-cutting machine using the coordinating bike die. ▶ watch 7:30
5. Remove the die-cut bike from the machine. ▶ watch 8:00
6. Glue the die-cut bike to your card base, securing it at the bottom to allow the flowers to have movement. ▶ watch 8:30
7. Add fussy-cut flowers to the top of the bike, giving them slight lift for dimension. ▶ watch 9:00
8. Paint the flowers with a touch of pink watercolour and water using a paintbrush. ▶ watch 10:00
9. Trim and glue a sentiment from the set across the bike to complete the card. ▶ watch 10:45

Tips from the show

• The die-cut means you don't have to fussy-cut the bike, though you can if you prefer.
• Giving embellishments slight lift with adhesive creates dimension and movement on your card.
