Simple Floral Topper Card with Sentiment

A quick and easy card using one of the pre-printed floral toppers mounted onto white cardstock with a stamped sentiment. This creates an elegant, finished card with minimal effort and maximum impact.

Step by step

1. Take one of the floral toppers from the charcoal collection. ▶ watch 11:45
2. Mount the topper flat onto a piece of white cardstock using glue or adhesive pads. ▶ watch 12:00
3. Stamp a sentiment into the centre of your card using the no-line ink pad for a soft, dispersed effect. ▶ watch 12:15
4. Choose a sentiment like 'Amazing New' or 'Great Day' from the available options. ▶ watch 13:00
5. Fold your pre-scored envelope on the score lines to create the matching envelope. ▶ watch 13:30
6. Glue the envelope closed along the side using a glue pen or tape. ▶ watch 14:00
7. Place your finished card inside the coordinating envelope. ▶ watch 14:30
8. Select a coordinating sticker from the sheet and peel it off carefully. ▶ watch 15:00
9. Seal the envelope with the sticker on the back flap. ▶ watch 15:30

Tips from the show

• The no-line ink pad disperses when you stamp it multiple times, creating a soft, watercolour-like effect rather than harsh black lines.
• You get a ton of each topper design, so don't be afraid to fussy cut or experiment with them.
• The uncoated cardstock allows you to intensify the flower colours with a brush and watercolour if you wish.
