Backgrounds and More 3 from Sweet Dixie is a collection designed for card makers, stampers and scrapbookers who want to add texture, pattern and visual interest to their projects.
You'll find texture stamps that create detailed backgrounds—like crackle, dotty and pebble effects—perfect for filling card bases or layered panels. There's also a generous selection of cutting dies for building backgrounds and embellishments: delicate florals, geometric patterns, decorative borders and corner details. You'll discover dies for creating focal elements too, from large floral posies to interlocking blocks and filigree ovals. There are also practical dies for numbering and hexagon shapes, useful for adding personalised touches or creating structured layouts.
When choosing pieces, think about the overall style you're creating—whether you prefer intricate florals or clean geometric designs. Texture stamps work beautifully layered with ink or embossing powder, whilst dies can be mixed and matched to build unique backgrounds. Consider keeping versatile shapes like blocks and borders on hand, as they combine well with other Sweet Dixie collections.
