About BASEBOARDS AND TRANSPARENCIES

Tim Holtz Idea-ology Baseboards and Transparencies are designed for crafters who love to layer, build and create dimensional mixed-media projects. Whether you're making altered art, shadow boxes, or decorative displays, these products give you the foundation and finishing touches you need.

This category includes baseboards and transparencies, often themed around seasonal occasions like Christmas and Halloween. Baseboards provide sturdy support for your creations, whilst transparencies add depth and visual interest through layering. Crafters typically use these pieces to construct assemblies, build up backgrounds, or create window effects in their projects.

When choosing baseboards and transparencies, think about the scale of your project and how many layers you want to build. Transparencies work beautifully when layered over patterned papers or images, so consider what you'll place beneath them. Baseboards give you a solid starting point, so select one that complements your overall design theme and colour palette.
