About POURING MEDIUM

Pouring Medium from Viva Decor is for crafters who want to create fluid, flowing effects with paint and inks. Whether you're new to pouring techniques or already experienced, this category helps you find the right products to achieve smooth, controlled colour flow on your projects.

Our Viva Decor Pouring Medium range includes concentrated formulas designed to thin and condition paints and inks without weakening their colour or coverage. These products help you create beautiful marbling effects, fluid backgrounds, and seamless colour blends on cards, scrapbook layouts and mixed-media pieces.

When choosing a pouring medium, consider the consistency you're aiming for—thinner mixes work best for delicate, flowing designs, whilst thicker blends give you more control over where colour settles. Always mix thoroughly with your chosen paint or ink, and test on scrap paper first to see how the medium affects flow and drying time. Start with small amounts and adjust gradually until you achieve the effect you're after.
