Metallic Embossed Greenery Card

A card embossed with a greenery design and then enhanced with metallic ink to create a luxurious, festive finish perfect for Christmas cards.

Step by step

1. Place your card stock into the greenery embossing folder from the Thirsty Brush collection. ▶ watch 55:00
2. Run it through your die-cutting machine to emboss the greenery design. ▶ watch 55:15
3. Remove the card and select a metallic ink pad (such as gold). ▶ watch 55:30
4. Using a soft brush, lightly apply the metallic ink to the raised embossed areas. ▶ watch 55:45
5. Add a sentiment such as 'Merry Christmas' to complete the card. ▶ watch 56:00
6. Optional: add sparkle with sparkle pens if desired for extra festive detail. ▶ watch 56:15

Tips from the show

• Metallic inks on embossed greenery create a beautiful, luxurious Christmas card.
• A light touch with the brush gives the most elegant result.
• You can use the salt and pepper technique with embossing powder for a rustic finish if you prefer.
