Stamped and Embossed Pear with Watercolour Card

Combine stamping and embossing techniques on watercolour card stock to create a dimensional, textured design. Stamp the pear image first, then run the stamped card through an embossing folder to add 3D depth.

Step by step

  1. Stamp the pear image onto watercolour card stock using black ink, stamping twice to ensure full coverage of the textured surface. ▶ watch 45:45
  2. Place the stamped card into the embossing folder, aligning the pear image with the folder design as best you can by eye. ▶ watch 46:15
  3. Run the sandwich through your die-cutting machine to emboss the design, creating 3D texture over the stamped image. ▶ watch 46:30
  4. Remove the card and feel the raised embossed details that now sit on top of the stamped design. ▶ watch 47:00
