Reflection Collection Family Story Card

A meaningful card using the reflection stamps that tell a story. You stamp a family scene onto patterned paper, add a sentiment, and embellish with colourless glitter to create shimmer in the water area. The built-in reflection in the stamp design means no complex technique is needed.

Step by step

1. Select a patterned paper from the reflection collection bundle. ▶ watch 32:00
2. Position the family stamp on the paper where you want the scene to appear. ▶ watch 32:15
3. Stamp the family image in black ink onto the paper. ▶ watch 32:30
4. Add a white gel pen highlight to one side of any umbrella or focal point in the design. ▶ watch 33:00
5. Choose a sentiment from the stamp set and stamp it onto the card in black ink. ▶ watch 33:30
6. Apply glue to the water area of the design. ▶ watch 34:00
7. Sprinkle colourless glitter onto the glued area to create shimmer. ▶ watch 34:15
8. Remove excess glitter and set the card aside to dry completely. ▶ watch 34:30

Tips from the show

• The reflection is built into the stamp design, so you don't need to create it yourself.
• You can stamp the image partially off the page to create a sense of movement.
• Colourless glitter catches light like ripples on water without clashing with your colour scheme.
