Reflection Collection Rain Scene Slim Card

A slim-line card featuring the dancing in the rain stamp on patterned paper. You stamp the running figures onto the paper, add white gel pen highlights to the umbrella, and finish with a sentiment. This demonstrates how the same stamp and papers work in different card formats.

Step by step

1. Select a patterned paper from the urban life or dawn dusk collection. ▶ watch 40:00
2. Position the running figure stamp on the paper as if they are moving into the scene. ▶ watch 40:15
3. Stamp the running figure in black ink, positioning it partially off the page if desired. ▶ watch 40:30
4. Use a white gel pen to add highlights to the umbrella or focal points. ▶ watch 41:00
5. Select and stamp a sentiment onto the card in black ink. ▶ watch 41:30
6. Trim the card to slim-line format if desired. ▶ watch 42:00

Tips from the show

• The base of the reflection stamp design is shorter and has a jaded effect, so align this at the bottom for correct orientation.
• You don't have to use the papers if you prefer to create your own backgrounds with ink blending.
• Stamping partially off the page creates a sense of movement and story.
