Sweet Like Honey Fussy-Cut Bee Embellishment

A quick embellishment using a bee design fussy-cut from the sweet like honey paper collection. You cut out the bee carefully and mount it onto your card with colourless glitter for sparkle. The watercolour paper has soft edges that don't require perfect cutting.

You will need

Step by step

1. Select a bee design from the sweet like honey paper collection. ▶ watch 54:45
2. Carefully fussy-cut around the bee using scissors, allowing a small watercolour border around the design. ▶ watch 55:00
3. Apply glue to the back of the fussy-cut bee. ▶ watch 55:15
4. Mount the bee onto your card in your chosen position. ▶ watch 55:30
5. Apply colourless glitter to the bee for added sparkle and dimension. ▶ watch 55:45

Tips from the show

• The watercolour paper has soft edges that extend beyond the design, so slight imperfections in fussy-cutting won't show.
• You can leave a small intentional border around the design to make it look like you meant to.
