Create stunning cards with a bold lino print effect using embossing folders and ink. This innovative technique produces graphic black and white designs featuring winter scenes, pine cones, and decorative patterns. By inking the embossing folder directly, you can achieve multiple generation prints with varying intensities for a professional, artistic finish.
Apply midnight black ink directly onto the surface of your embossing folder using an ink pad. Work the ink across the raised design areas of the folder to ensure good coverage.

Run the same inked embossing folder through your die-cutting machine again without re-inking to create a second generation print with a lighter, more subtle effect.

Test the embossing folder and ink technique on decorative or textured paper to see how different card stocks create varied effects. The same folder will produce different results depending on the paper surface and texture used.
