Create an elegant card featuring a decorative lapel effect at the top using a snow drift word die. The die-cut word creates a folded flap that frames a beautiful winter scene of snow-covered trees in soft, muted tones. This technique combines die-cutting with layering to achieve a sophisticated dimensional design.
Position your gold snow drift word die (Winter) at the top edge of your card base. The decorative script should extend across the top of the card.

Cut out the 'Winter' word die from gold card. Position it so it extends beyond the top edge of the card to create a lapel effect, then attach it to the card front.

Select one of the painted mounts from the set and position it underneath the cut-out word on your card front. Secure the mount in place using adhesive.

Position the die-cut 'Joy' word at the top of your dark grey card base to create a decorative lapel or banner effect across the top edge.
