FolkArt is a collection of acrylic paints and painting mediums from Plaid, perfect for card makers, stampers and scrapbookers who want to add hand-painted details to their projects. Whether you're decorating card bases, embellishing layouts or creating custom painted elements, FolkArt gives you professional results with an accessible range.
This category includes over 187 products featuring FolkArt acrylic paints in a wide spectrum of colours—from rich jewel tones like Sapphire and Amethyst to warm shades such as Warm Bisque and Baby Pink, plus vibrant primaries like Bright Red and School Bus Yellow. You'll also find metallic options in finishes like Gold, Silver, Copper and Inca Gold, as well as specialist mediums such as Crackle Medium for creating textured effects. Brushes are included to help you apply your chosen colours with precision and control.
When selecting colours, consider the mood you want to create on your card or layout. Metallic paints work beautifully for adding shimmer and dimension, whilst crackle mediums are ideal if you're after a vintage, aged appearance. Always allow paint to dry fully between layers for the best coverage and finish.
