Tim Holtz Idea-ology Backdrops are designed for card makers, scrapbookers and mixed media crafters who want to add depth and visual interest to their projects. Whether you're creating festive cards, layouts or mixed media pieces, these backdrops provide a finished foundation that transforms your designs.
This category includes themed backdrops for different occasions and seasons. You'll find options like Christmas and Halloween designs, each offering distinctive imagery and atmospheres. Crafters typically use backdrops as the base layer of their projects—layering them with stamps, embellishments, photos and other decorative elements to create dimension and tell a story.
When choosing a backdrop, consider the overall mood you want to create and how it will work with your other materials. Think about whether you'd like the backdrop to be the star of your design or a subtle supporting layer. Remember that backdrops work beautifully when combined with your favourite stamps, die-cuts and embellishments, so you can personalise them to suit your creative vision.
