Woodland Wolf Stamped Card with Stencil Halo

Create a striking card featuring the detailed wolf stamp from the Woodland Wolf set, enhanced with a white ink halo using the coordinating stencil and mask system. The result is a moody, atmospheric design that makes the wolf pop from the patterned paper background.

Step by step

1. Trim a piece of patterned paper from the collection to your desired card size, choosing a design that complements the wolf theme. ▶ watch 11:30
2. Stamp the wolf stamp onto the centre of your watercolour-effect card using a dark ink pad, pressing firmly to capture all the detail. ▶ watch 12:30
3. Hold the interior mask stencil in place over the wolf stamp to protect the design. ▶ watch 13:15
4. Apply white ink around the wolf using a brush, creating a halo effect that makes the wolf stand out from the background. ▶ watch 15:00
5. Remove the mask stencil carefully to reveal the white halo around the wolf. ▶ watch 15:30
6. Optionally, use the exterior stencil to add additional colour or texture around the design if desired. ▶ watch 18:00
7. Mount the finished piece onto a card blank or frame it as artwork. ▶ watch 18:15

Tips from the show

• You can use any colour ink pad instead of the suggested colours to personalise your card.
• The stencil and mask system allows you to create multiple layers and effects on the same design.
• The papers are uncoated, so you can stamp, heat emboss, and run them through embossing folders.
