Wax Resist Embossed Card Technique

Enhance an embossed design by applying blendable wax over the raised details. The wax picks up the texture and creates an intensified, artistic effect that highlights the embossing.

You will need

Step by step

1. Warm blendable wax on your fingertip by rubbing it gently. ▶ watch 56:15
2. Apply the warm wax over the embossed design on your card, working it into the raised areas. ▶ watch 56:30
3. Run your finger over the waxed design to blend and intensify the colour, allowing the wax to pick up all the embossed details. ▶ watch 56:45
4. Build up the intensity by applying additional wax if desired for a more dramatic effect. ▶ watch 57:15
