Watercolour card is perfect for crafters who love painting and want to create beautiful handmade cards with vibrant washes of colour. Whether you're a confident watercolourist or just exploring the medium, this category brings together papers and cards designed specifically to handle water and pigment beautifully.
You'll find traditional watercolour papers here, like our CARTA range in A5 size, which are ideal for painting directly onto card blanks or panels. These papers are made to absorb and work with watercolour paints, giving you the control and finish you need for professional-looking results. Many card makers use watercolour card to create one-of-a-kind designs that really stand out.
When choosing watercolour card, look for a weight and texture that suits your painting style. Heavier papers handle wet techniques better and resist buckling, while textured surfaces can add lovely character to your brushwork. Always test your paints and techniques on a spare piece before committing to your finished card.
